A. This contract will only cover work at the following SHA facilities or buildings in Harford County: Churchville Maintenance Facility – Wash Bay Sectional Overhead Door Replacement 3050 Churchville Road, Churchville Md, 21028 B. Contractors are highly encouraged to visit the site of work to take measurements of the door and review the worksite for anything that will impact the work to be completed. SHA will not be providing measurements. Site visits may be arranged by contacting Mr. John Provenzano C. Contractors must meet all Federal OSHA, MOSH, state and federal guidelines in the performance of work and proper handling and disposal of waste and or contaminated materials. D. Vendors shall clear all debris from the worksite daily. E. Upon starting the installation, vendor shall have 10 days to complete. F. Work cannot leave the wash bay exposed to freezing temperatures. G. Vendors shall provide all materials, supplies, tools, labor, fabrication, equipment, overhead, fuels, transportation. SHA will provide zero support to the vendor in accomplishing the work. This is a “furnish and install” contract. A fully operable final product is expected upon completion of work. H. No work shall be subcontracted out. I. Project is expected to start within 10 days of Notice to Proceed being issued by the Churchville Maintenance Shop. J. The disposal of the existing door system, operator, wiring and controls will be the responsibility of the contractor. K. Contractor must provide manufacturer’s warranty on all materials and warrant the installation workmanship for a period of 1 year. L. No work shall be started, and no orders placed by vendor until notice to proceed or signed purchase order is sent to the contractor. M. Specifications for Overhead Sectional insulated Doors are as follows: a. Install (2) 14’6”x 16’ Thermacore Overhead Insulated Sectional Doors or Approved Equal. b. Door to be mounted on the Interior of building. c. Install 2” inch Steel High Lift Track Wash Bay d. Sectional Panels (to match existing brown/bronze color) e. Install stainless steel rollers / panel hinges. f. Install Shaft and Torsion Spring. g. Install (2) NEMA 4x motors. h. Provide bottom electric safety edge. i. Weather-stripping j. Provide Lintel Brush Seal at top of opening. k. Provide Guide Brush Seals l. Provide Neoprene Bottom Seal m. Provide vision lites as follows: Located approximately 60” from bottom of door four (4) lites wide X five (5) lites high n. Approved Manufacturers: Cookson, Cornell, Overhead, Raynor (or SHA approved equivalent) N. Specifications for Electric Motor Operator are as follows: a. Model "GH" (will need to verify voltage & phase) b. Provide L/M Modification M103 (NEMA 4/12) c. Provide NEMA 4 3-Button Exterior Control Station x Key-Lockout d. Mortise Cylinder to be keyed to SHA Key System e. Interior mounted up, down, stop control to be included. f. Electronic reversing safety edge g. Provide space inside cover for hoist chain storage h. Provide complete cover for Tension Adjustment. i. Approved Manufacturers: NEMA 4X (or SHA approved equivalent)
