The Contract shall: Be capable of providing up to 25 One-to-One and/or Two-to-One Aides within five (5) Business Days of a request from the Contract Monitor. However, the Contractor shall not be required to provide more than 25 Aides. There is no minimum or maximum number of days for the individual One-toOne and/or Two-to-One assignments but the typical assignment ranges from 1 day to 210 days in the CEC. Have a full operational office and staff in the Baltimore Metropolitan area to include at least one full time staff member responsible for the daily operations. Provide One-to-One and/or Two-to-One Aides who have obtained a high school diploma and/or GED and have at least 1-year experience working with individuals with disabilities. Maintain personnel records of each One-to-One and/or Two-to-One Aide providing service to the CEC. Personnel records should include, but not limited to, personal ID (i.e. SSN) criminal background checks and drug testing, proof of required hiring criteria. Copies of documents must be made available to the State upon request. Ensure that One-to-One and/or Two-to-One Aides arrive in appropriate attire as specified in the RICA – Baltimore Dress Code Policy RI.DRS.0823. Clothing must be clean and in good repair. Clothing that is too revealing is not permitted. Undergarments must not be visible. Shoes should be of a type that would not impede mobility in an emergency or contribute to accidents and/or injuries. Jewelry and accessories should be kept to a minimum. Hats, visors, hoodies and other non-religious headwear are not permitted. No clothing is permitted that advertises or depicts obscene language, religious/political images, drugs, tobacco products or alcohol; this includes jewelry. Clothing that is controversial or disruptive should also not be worn. Upon request of RICA-Baltimore / CEC, ensure One-to-One and/or Two-to-One Aides arrive by 8:15 a.m. on days that school is in session and report to the Supervisor’s office for assignment of designated student to monitor throughout the school day. CEC follows the Baltimore County Public School calendar. CEC’s work schedule is typically Monday – Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Upon request of RICA – Baltimore/CEC, ensure One-to-Ones and/or Two-to-One Aides arrive on time, per the Contract Monitors requested time for service. The Aide(s) are to report to the Contract Monitors office for assignment of a designated client to monitor for the time required. Prior to assignment, provide One-to-One and/or Two-to-One Aides orientation on working in a special education school environment. The orientation shall include incident reporting. Prior to assignment, provide basis crisis prevention, verbal de-escalation, classroom management skills to One-to-One and/or Two-to-One Aides and provide copies of training materials to the CEC. Provide annual training to One-to-One and/or Two-to-One Aides regarding HIPAA compliance, ethical standards, confidentiality, security and health and safety, including OSHA. Copies of the training materials shall be provided to CEC. Maintain direct responsibility as employer of One-to-One and/or Two-to-One Aides for payment of wages and other compensation, reimbursement of expenses and compliance with Federal, State and Local Tax withholdings, workmen’s compensation and temporary disability, social security, unemployment, general liability insurance, bonding and other obligations imposed on the employment of such personnel. Replace an individual One-to-One and or Two-to-One Aide that is not performing the assigned duties as required, at the discretion of the Contract Monitor or designee. In the event, that a designated One-to-One and/or Two-to-One Aide is unable to report to their scheduled day/time a replacement Aide must be sent within a 1-hour period. A.
