KEYS is seeking bids from licensed and insured painting contractors to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to paint exterior surfaces of the William Arnold Service Building, located at 1001 James Street, Key West, Florida 33040. Contractor is responsible for, but not limited to, the following: 1. Pressure cleaning and painting of the exterior walls, stairways, and platforms of all buildings. All surfaces to be prepped and paints to be applied, per manufacturer’s specifications. Specifications can be found in Attachment 1. o Doors, metal overhang, roof components, railings and ladders shall not be painted on Service Building or Mail Room. o Doors, including roll-up doors, and railings shall be painted on Meter Storage/Gym Building. o Metal fencing shall not be painted. 2. Doors, windows, and entry points shall be sealed. Current sealants shall be removed and replaced per manufacturer's specifications, as found in Attachment 1. 3. All cracks are to be repaired with elastomeric patches. Material, preparation, and application must be done per manufacturer’s instructions, as found in Attachment 1. 4. Contractor must have Sherwin-Williams local representative inspect process to ensure maximum warranty received. 5. Colors to be submitted to Project Manager for approval prior to purchase.
