• Art Curation o Work with HMC / UW Medicine department representatives and oversight committees to provide new art as requested. Project types include: ▪ Commissioned fine art or existing fine art for specific locations ▪ Digital / Graphic art installed on wallcoverings ▪ Small, custom fine art collections for specific departments • Project Management o Coordination of all logistics involved in art projects including: ▪ Schedules ▪ Budgets ▪ Management of consultants (if applicable) o Art Procurement / Acquisition Supplier to have ability to furnish / purchase art and sell to UW Medicine directly ▪ Supplier to provide fees associated with brokering art purchases • Art Handling, Transport, Installation and Storage o Experience in transporting and installing art pieces of various sizes (including oversized) o Knowledge of different types of installation methods o Ability to seismically stabilize art installation when applicable o Able to insure up to $50k while art is in possession • Art Framing and Repair o Experience in various types of framing materials and expertise in finding the right solution for the art o Ability to think creatively to find the right solution to properly display art pieces o Able to insure up to $50k while art is in possession • Appraisal Services o HMC / UW Medicine has a large collection of art displayed across campus and additional pieces in storage. Ability to offer appraisal services through qualified appraiser holding one of the following certifications: ▪ American Society of Appraisers ▪ Appraisers Association of America
