This project includes the installation of a Fire Alerting System at five (5) fire stations in Albany, Oregon. The project locations are listed below. Installation must be completed meeting industry standards, local and state laws and rules, building and electrical codes, with quality materials, and the use of certified G2 Phoenix by Honeywell installers using methods explained during the certification training. In addition to the G2 Phoenix installation certification required by Honeywell, applicants must be licensed through the State of Oregon to install protective signaling systems, such as fire alarms and security systems, and must hold at least a Limited Energy Contractor's License. Additionally, the individual responsible ("signer") must be licensed as either a Class "A" Limited Energy Technician, General Journeyman Electrician, or General Supervising Electrician. Connection ports (1000 base-T) will be provided at each station. The City will work with Honeywell to complete the connection after installation is complete. The existing VHF system will be left in place to provide a backup. City will be responsible for removing and disposing of all necessary material in a sustainable manner, in accordance with environmental requirements and the EPA.
