A. Repairs Awarded Bidder shall make every effort to expedite any and all repairs and complete them within one business day. For refrigeration equipment, some types of repairs (for example Walk-in Refrigerated and Freezers) are critical to the food program operations and must be handled immediately. The contractor shall notify WCPS Food & Nutrition Services Department of any delays in making critical equipment repairs. Excessive delays in making repairs will be cause for WCPS to consider the Awarded Bidder in default and the contract terminated for cause. B. Availability of Parts Sufficient parts will be carried on the trucks to assure that at least twenty-five percent (25%) of the repairs are completed at the time of the first service call. If at any time, completion of the repair is not possible within twenty–four (24) hours, the service person will notify FNS Personnel of the anticipated time of completion. The contractor is to notify FNS of any delay (301-766-2890). C. Records a. A record of all equipment repairs must be kept. Records must provide sufficient detail such as the date of the problem, labor hours, unit rates, itemized parts list, completion date, etc. for recordkeeping purposes.
