Applicants should focus their efforts on one or more of the goals listed below. • Demonstrate full integration of agonist and partial agonist treatments for opioid use disorder (methadone and buprenorphine), rather than a primary focus on antagonist medication (naltrexone). Offering all three forms of medications for opioid use disorder is preferable. • Target critical gaps in current service systems across diverse racial, ethnic, geographic, and other demographic groups, including specific targeting for transitional age youth ages 16-25 and the incarcerated population with opioid and/or stimulant use disorder and other concurrent substance use disorders. • Provide treatment for people with opioid and/or stimulant use disorder and other concurrent substance use disorders. • Provide education on and distribution of naloxone and drug checking technologies such as fentanyl testing strips. • Offer recovery support services, such as peer support, recovery coaching, recovery housing, case management/wraparound services, and employment supports such as the Individual Placement Support model to individuals with opioid and/or stimulant use disorder and other concurrent substance use disorders.
