The scope of service is for the successful contractor to perform annual inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, City authorized upgrades, and emergency service of all overhead doors owned by the city. Annual expenditures for this contract are usually $12,000 per year. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, tools, equipment, supervision, insurance, permits, etc. required to repair and or replace all damaged, broken, or non-compliant overhead doors as directed by the City. The contract will require that all overhead doors be in safe operating condition, inspected annually, and properly maintained. All work will be in accordance with annual inspections and labor rates bid and pricing for materials used. The Contractor will also provide, at no charge, written cost estimates when requested, for repairs, replacement, and upgrading at specific facilities. No subcontracting to another overhead door company will be allowed for any portion of repair during the term of this contract.
