Contractor will furnish dedicated team of Kansas Licensed Pharmacists to provide tele- pharmacy services when the hospitals employed pharmacies are closed and when staff pharmacists are unavailable or request additional staffing during normal business hours. Instances where the state hospital pharmacies require staffing during normal business hours may include but are not limited to staff illness and adverse weather events. The hospital pharmacies normal business hours are Monday thru through Friday, excluding State of Kansas observed holidays, beginning at approximately 8:00am to approximately 4:00 p.m. depending on the facility. The Contractor policy and procedures must ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance relating to pharmaceutical services and standards, including conditions of participation with the Joint Commission, commercial insurance, Medicaid and Medicare.
