The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, supplies, equipment, tools, and incidentals necessary to perform the following work: A 1,000 linear foot culvert is proposed to collect water from the unnamed brook that enters the existing Brookside/Glenbrook drainage system and convert the water by piping it to a discharge point on Derby Milford Road across from the Glenbrook Road/Derby Milford Road intersection. The Brookside/Glenbrook culvert will initiate at a new headwall just north of Brookside Road. The culvert consists of approximately 75-LF of 7’W x4’H RC box culvert along Brookside and then will switch to a single 72-inch RCP running down Brookside Drive Glenbrook Road, outleting across from the intersection of Glenbrook Road and Derby-Milford Road into an unmanned stream. A preformed rip rap scour hole will be designed to dissipate energy at this discharge. New storm drainage structures and pipes will be installed to replace existing drainage and/or improve in Brookside and Glenbrook Road drainage can be connected to the Brookside/Glenbrook Diversion culvert.
