The county wishes to have single-mode fiber ran from DMARC F to the IDFs A, B, C, D, E There is a mixture of 7-way conduit and 2” regular conduit connecting the DMARC and IDFs. See pages 2 - 7 for details specific to each DMARC and IDF. Corning Fiber cost is required. If you wish to provide an alternate fiber brand for county to consider you may, in addition to providing a bid using Corning. 6pair/12 strand from A-to-B-to-C-to-F. 6pair/12 strand from E-to-D-toF. Approximate combined distance for above is 9,500’ If above 9,500’ is sold, for example a 10K spool, customer will take ownership of any fiber not used in the project. A, B, C, will have home runs of pairs/strands back to F - 2 pairs / 4 strands at each. D, will have home runs of pairs/strands back to F - 3 pairs / 6 strands. E, will have home runs of pairs/strands back to F - 3 pairs / 6 strands. You can install a higher pair/strand count fiber. The above is the minimum 6/12 and the only fusion spliced terminations in this bid are what is called out here. Extra strands if included should be safely coiled up at A or E and F.
