The City of Waycross is soliciting bids for one (1) four-wheel drive tractor with a 25’ side arm boom mower. Any make and model that meets or exceeds the specifications will be considered. Tractor Specifications (John Deere 6145 M, New Holland TS6125 or Acceptable Alternate); Must be capable of supporting and working with the attached side arm configuration in a safe and well-balanced manner. The tractor must meet or exceed the mower manufacturer’s rating. 125 HP engine or greater; 100 HP PTO or greater; Enclosed cab with heat/air-conditioned; Lexan safety glass windows; Emergency amber strobe light on cab top with cage; Backup alarm; Joystick control; Air ride seat (State weight limit) lumbar, tilt, armrest, and two (2) safety switches; AM/FM Radio with Bluetooth; Headlights with LED daytime running lights, turn signals, and brake lights; Side Arm Mower Attachment Specifications (25’ Alamo Machete or Acceptable Alternate); Boom must be mid-mount NO EXCEPTIONS; 25-foot minimum reach; Joystick controls; Minimum 60” Self-Contained Hydraulic System rotary head with swivel; Extra set of blades must be included in bid.
