A) The University desires to contract with a reputable, responsible, and progressive concessions provider who can deliver a concessions platform that enhances the fan experience while providing industry-leading quality of service, food, and presentation, all while effectively maximizing food concession opportunities to increase revenues by developing strategies that benefit both UNL Athletics and the successful respondent. B) The University’s ideal vendor will primarily manage and operate food and beverage operations for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln athletic venues as identified within the scope of services section. This would include servicing premium areas such as suites, clubs, etc., which is expected to be a more upscale experience for fans and visitors. Additionally, the Vendor will be responsible for managing inventory/food storage, staffing all necessary events, and providing regular detailed financial analyses of operations. The University envisions a provider that can highlight the University’s position as a leader in fan experience in both the Big Ten Conference and the entire NCAA. C) Respondents should demonstrate their ability to provide concessions experience that will address the University’s current needs and allow for potential future expansion. D) Respondents should know that all athletic venues are cashless and will remain so. The University is not open to accepting cash for concession items in the future. E) The University competes in NCAA Division I athletics in the Big Ten Conference.
