Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. JMT is uniquely qualified to provide DEP with the professional engineering services needed during the post design and construction phases of this project because under a separate agreement that was funded through National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) and implemented by DEP, JMT assessed and prioritized the unpaved road-stream crossings in Holmes and Washington County, developed the 100% plans, technical specifications, and obtained the necessary permits for the Project. Their overall familiarity with the specifics of the design requirements and stakeholder’s desires is crucial for the success of the project. JMT has the specific expertise needed to provide DEP with engineering expertise and environmental services for construction of improvements of the thirteen (13) road-river crossings in the Choctawhatchee River Basin in Washington and Holmes Counties in order to complete the plans for the Choctawhatchee Unpaved Roads Project originally procured under DEP Contract RM162.
