e City of St Charles Facilities Maintenance Division is accepting bids for snow removal for the winter season of 2024-2025. The properties to be serviced are: Senior Center 1455 Fairgrounds Rd St. Charles, MO 63301; Foundry Art Centre 520 N Main Center St. Charles, MO 63301; Fire House #1 911 N 6th St St. Charles, MO 63301; Drug Task Force Building 400 North Dr. St. Charles, MO 63301; Animal Shelter 2835 W Randolph St St. Charles, MO 63301 1. Plowing and salting of asphalt parking lot. 2. Hand shoveling entries and sidewalks and spreading calcium chloride, in lieu of salt, so concrete is not damaged. Snow plows are to be dispatched at an accumulation of 1” of snow (2” of snow for CVB parking lot). At an accumulation of 1/8” of sleet, freezing rain or snow, chemical trucks will be dispatched. These same weather conditions will apply to the dispatching of crews to clear and treat sidewalks and entries.
