4. SPECIFICATIONS The Ellsworth Correctional Facility is accepting bids to Upgrade the Door Control System in Building 1 control center. All bidders shall provide in writing the specifications and performance of the work that will be performed. The contractor shall be responsible to obtain any Construction Approvals prior to starting work. A walk through shall be completed at the completion of the scope of work. Scope of Work: Building 1 Door Control System • Provide a new industrial touchscreen door controlsystem to replace the existing door control system. • Provide a new Omron PLC, relays, programming, power supplies, and other components for a complete system. • The new door controlsystem will function similar to the existing system. • Schedule: A detailed site investigation and wiring of all existing wiring will occur within 4 weeks of the executed proposal. 8–12-week lead time for equipment on- site once proposal has been accepted. We anticipate 2-3 day of on-site install. Doors on this system will be down for the duration of this installation. Other: • Re-use all existing cabling • Existing enclosures will remain and be reused and be reused (required due to the intercom system remaining as-is.)
