The State requires janitorial services in various facilities throughout Illinois where State Agencies do not otherwise employ janitorial staff. In most cases, State Agencies occupy facilities that are open to provide services to or conduct business with the general public. Janitorial services are required to maintain the safety, health, and performance of individuals within these facilities. State facilities where services will be provided are permanent buildings tenanted by State officials and employees. Janitorial services are also necessary for the protection of the building and its equipment. Vendor requirements include, but are not limited to, full performance of all specified daily services on the first official working day of the contract period.
