The services required for this contract are to provide Concrete and Asphalt proficiency samples that are to be tested by qualified laboratory technicians. The consulting services involve preparation, curing, and delivery of proficiency samples of concrete and asphalt materials in accordance with American Society of Materials and Testing (ASTM), Florida Method (FM), and American Association of State Highway Transportation Organizations (AASHTO) methods and procedures. The samples are used for evaluating the performance of qualified sampling and testing personnel who perform acceptance program sampling and testing for the Department. Periodic IA evaluations are intended to assure the integrity of the testing program, used in acceptance of the materials. Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification.
