a. Refurbishing of the elevator cab’s, installation of new controls and new hydraulic pump equipment, HVAC, electrical, fire alarm devices, and renovations to be performed in accordance with the design documents attached as Exhibits “1”, “2”, and “3”, the specifications attached as Exhibit “4”, and this scope of work. b. The new equipment and components shall be as specified in the design documents attached as Exhibits “1”, “2”, and “3”, and this scope of work c. Contractor will be required to hire Palm Beach County (PBC) approved Fire Alarm Contractor to replace devices and add/program according to current codes. d. All fire alarm work will conform to PBC Electronic Services and Security (ESS) specification 28-3100, existing devices shall be replaced to current codes and County specifications attached as Exhibit “4”. e. A Fire Alarm Pre-Test shall be performed in the presence of PBC ESS Fire Operations to confirm and document the current operational status of the existing system prior to the refurbishment of the elevator equipment. f. Upon completion, the fire alarm will be recertified in the presence of PBC ESS representative to test all new devices and 10% of existing devices or as required in PBC specifications.
