HYDRAULIC AUGER DRIVE HEAD WITH AUGER BIT A. Auger head must be hydraulically driven and have a mounting bracket suitable for attachment to the provided accessory mount at the end of the single manual extension of the crane (see photos and drawing). B. Auger drive head must have a minimum of 2,062-foot pounds of torque and require from 14-25 GPM @ 2,500-psi. Auger head hydraulic motor(s) must be compatible for use with a 3,000-psi system. C. Auger head must be provided with two (2) 3-foot x 3/4-inch, non-skive 3000-psi working pressure hydraulic hose pigtails installed. Hose pigtails must have 1-inch Male NPT permanent crimp-on fittings installed for Department supplied couplers. Hoses will need to be capped when auger is delivered. D. A 9-inch diameter auger bit must be provided. Bit must have a minimum of 42- inches of double flighting, be capable of a minimum 5-foot digging depth and have replaceable carbide cutting teeth.
