Commercial diving services required at the WPCF, WFP, and any other City locations, may include but are not limited to the following tasks: 1. Inspection and repair of drinking water pipelines and reservoirs. 2. Inspection and repair of wastewater pipelines, lift stations, and wastewater treatment plant lagoons. 3. Inspection using an underwater video camera when visibility permits. The City anticipates that approximately ten (10) video inspections may be needed. Underwater still photography may also be required. All video is to be delivered using a filesharing service or FTP site. Contact the City project manager listed above if your company wishes to upload the video to an FTP site. 4. Cleaning of river sediment materials from around facilities and outfalls, including diffusers, and displacing the removed material downstream using a large jet pump. The City anticipates that approximately four (4) separate cleanings may be needed. 5. Using the work vessel hoist, remove sunken logs and stumpage from around the diffuser and displace the removed materials downstream. This task may involve the use of an underwater chainsaw.
