Multnomah County Non-D is seeking services from a community organization to: promote economic development & provide healthy participant and spectator activities & local events for people of all ages. Contractor shall perform the following work: 1. Spur economic growth and enhance positive social impacts through sports by working to bring international, national, and regional sporting events to our state such as Indie Grand Prix of Portland, Rockstar Energy Open Skateboarding, Women's Flat Track Derby Global Championships, NCAA Women’s Basketball Final Four; AND, 2. Support youth sports with an emphasis on underserved youth; AND, 3. Match contributions from other jurisdictions in Multnomah County, such as Metro and the City of Portland, and must be applied county-wide; AND, 4. Provide a comprehensive annual report (below). Reporting Standard annual report to COUNTY must include the following: 1. Detailed descriptions of all sports events pursued and successfully supported during the prior Fiscal Year as well as partnerships created to secure and support such sports events; 2. A description of each event’s magnitude in terms of the number of Portland tourists and hospitality impact: metrics could include room nights, estimated economic impact, visitor event participant and attendee totals, total attendance numbers and various other direct and indirect community impacts; 3. An assessment of the national and international visibility brought to Portland from each of the events secured and pursued; 4. A summary of progress made on sports franchise pursuits and sports facility development in Multnomah County; 5. A description of geographical geographic representation and impact in Multnomah County from events pursued or supported
