It is the intent of the Department of Administration (Admin) on behalf of the Office of Information Technology Services (OTIS) to solicit proposal from qualified vendors to provide Data Center migration services in support of the OTIS mission to transition agencies from self-provided information technology services into the OTIS shared services environment as stated in Proviso 117.107 of the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Appropriations Act and by Executive Order 2022-03. Admin is adopting a migration schedule which will see multiple agencies moving into the State Data Center and/or other hosting services OTIS provides over the next several years. Admin is seeking partners that have extensive experience establishing, securing, and supporting server, storage, endpoint, and network services as part of large-scale migration projects. Application assessments, mapping, and re-homing will also be in scope activities insofar as those activities are required for migration activities into the shared services environment. Experience with projects of similar scope and size in other states is desirable. The selected vendors will be aligned to the following high-level requirements/goals: Provide and support an extended term contract partnership with the State. Provide and support UGU migrations of varying size and scale from single location, small organizations comprising less than ten employees up through large entities exceeding 2,500 employees with field offices located throughout the state. Execute and support an annual migration cadence of 1,000 endpoints and user accounts and 100 server instances per year at a minimum. Design, engineer, and implement network resources to support the migration activities for each effort and for the post-migration environments. Conduct all activities safely and securely, ensuring that full compliance with the State’s information security requirements is met at all times. Provide engineering, project management, and project execution teams that have capability to work multiple UGU projects simultaneously.
