Chassis The chassis shall be a 550 series or 5500 series chassis. The chassis shall have four-wheel drive. Engine Shall be a diesel motor, factory supplied for which chassis shall be delivered. Transmission Factory supplied transmission for the chassis supplied Body Body shall consist of a minimum of a 12-foot box capable of accommodating all equipment listed in the bid. 5BAlternator & Battery System Alternator shall be a high output Alternator(s) System shall be designed to support all DC lights, accessories, and inverter with a minimum twenty (20) percent reserve capacity. Electrical load test shall be provided at final inspection. Battery Charger & Shore Power Plug The shore power plug shall be located on the driver’s side of cab. A Kussmaul Auto Charge WP Kit 51-02-1106 automatic disconnect device shall be provided and installed on the 110-volt shoreline connection complete with weatherproof cover and matching plug. The Auto-Eject shall be activated by the chassis starter switch to disconnect the plug. One (1) Kussmaul battery charger display shall be installed near the shore power plug.
