Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC) is requesting proposals (RFP) from qualified suppliers to provide a consistent level of vending machine services for snacks and drinks at reasonable prices to the employees of HACC and at various locations, to patrons and visitors. The purpose of this RFP is to select one or more suppliers to furnish vending machine services for snack and drink products to HACC offices and apartment building which are located in Cook County. The selected supplier(s) will furnish full service vending by providing the equipment, products and services required for a complete full-service vending operation. In consideration of allowing the awarded supplier(s) access to HACC’s facilities, the awarded supplier(s) must agree to provide the services to the HACC at no cost and pay a commission percentage of the gross sales to each apartment building. All products in snack and beverage machines should be those offering the highest gross commission to the HACC. Vending Machine Services will include, but are not limited to, installation of vending machines at all identified HACC’s locations and all necessary equipment, connections and auxiliary needs, upkeep and maintenance of the machines, stocking of products, restocking of products and making refund requests. All machines must be insured and replaced if inoperable or broken.
