Four (4) safety chains for securing vehicles to bed. Carrier bed shall be a minimum length of 19 feet, with a minimum width of 84 inches. Tow truck must be able to enter parking garages of Streets of St. Charles, Ameristar Casino, City of St. Charles Parking Garage, SSM Health Urgent Care, St. Joseph’s Hospital and any other parking garages, above or below grade, with the ability to tow vehicles out of the parking garage facility. Class B For towing medium-sized trucks, trailers, recreation vehicles, etc. Tow truck chassis shall have a minimum manufacturer’s capacity of 26,000 lbs. GVWR. Class C For towing large trucks, road tractors, buses, fire engines, etc. Tow truck chassis shall have a minimum manufacturer’s capacity of not less than 52,000 lbs. GVWR. Boom capacity of no less than 50,000 lbs. and (2) individual power winches with a pulling capacity of no less than 25,000 lbs. per winch. Wheel lift or under lift capabilities. Air brakes so constructed as to lock wheels automatically upon failure.
