The City of Madison is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the replacement of the exterior doors, windows, wall sheathing, siding, and related trim and flashing on the east elevation and lower portion of the North elevation at the Hoover Boathouse (James Madison Park) located at 622 East Gorham Street in Madison, WI. The project involves, but is not limited to, salvaging siding for reuse as applicable; removing the existing doors, windows, related frames and trim and sheathing; replacing sheathing, building wrap and flashing; fabricating and installing new wood doors and related trim; installing new windows and related trim and flashing; and installing salvage and new siding on the ground floor of the North elevation and on the entire East elevation. Alternate #1 involves preparing the subsurface materials of the South and West elevations and upper portion of the North elevation for painting and applying finish paint to the entire building including the East elevation and lower portion of the North elevation.
