The City of St. Joseph (hereafter referred to as “City”) seeks to identify a wellqualified vendor that will be responsible for managing the design, installation, deployment, operation, upgrading/reinvestment, and maintenance of new Wi-Fi infrastructure to deliver high-quality service to staff and visitors of thirty-seven (37) City of St. Joseph locations: The City will not own the infrastructure; it intends to provide space to the Vendor so that the Vendor may install privately owned and operated equipment. The awarded Vendor will retain ownership of the equipment and be responsible for the labor associated with service, repairs, and solution planning. The City will provide conditioned power and rack space for all of the Vendor’s equipment. All other components will be required to be part of your proposal and will remain your property with full warranty support for the duration of the agreement. This should be a FULLY MANAGED Wi-Fi solution. The City will be utilizing our current internet service and is not a condition of this request. The City will have the final determination on what is defined as adequate coverage for each location identified as part of the service. On the page to follow, please find a list of all site locations, addresses, floors, square footage, and the anticipated number of Indoor and Outdoor Wireless Access Points we anticipate will be needed.
