a. The contractor is responsible to furnish, install, startup and test all work indicated in the drawings and specifications unless it is explicitly indicated as “work by others”. b. Demolish and dispose of existing systems including boiler, piping, chimney and ancillary equipment and materials as needed to allow for new work. c. Furnish and install complete steam boiler system to replace existing boiler including but not limited to boiler & burner, steam, condensate and ancillary piping, insulation, fuel oil piping and components, chimney, housekeeping pad and controls. d. Startup, test and adjust boiler system. adjust burner firing rates, level controls and makeup as required to provide smooth trouble-free installation.
