Scope of Services ● Advise Cache County School District on how/ways the group health and welfare benefit plans fit into District overall compensation and benefit objectives. ● Advise Cache County School District as to whether current providers are best meeting the needs of the District and/or whether new providers should be sought in light of cost-effectiveness, current and future costs. ● Review Cache County School District’s current group health and welfare benefit plan to ensure compliance with State and Federal laws governing insurance (i.e., Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA, USERRA, FMLA, etc.). ● Assist with the process for the selection of carrier(s) and/or TPA(s) for group health and welfare benefit plans. ● Assist in the negotiation of the contractual terms between Cache County School District and selected providers of group health and welfare benefit plans. ● Ensure that all contracts, plan documents, and summary plan descriptions are produced and executed promptly.
