1. After Notice to Proceed, Contractor to field verify existing dimensions and provide shop drawings for Owner review. 2. Work inside the school shall not begin until February 5, 2025. 3. Demolish and properly dispose the existing wood sports flooring system and base in its entirety and prepare the substrate for new wood sports flooring system. FCS dumpsters shall not be used for trash and debris. a. The existing slab depression is approx. 1-1/2” (field verify). b. The approximate square footage of the gymnasium floor is 9,200 SF (field verify). 4. Bleachers will be demolished under a separate contract prior to start of work under this contract. 5. Protect all existing surfaces and gymnasium equipment during construction. 6. Install new wood sports flooring system and base as specified. The thickness of the new system must match the existing system thickness and slab depression so that bleachers and basketball goal backboards do not need to be adjusted. 7. All Work to achieve Final Completion no later than Sunday, March 23, 2025.
