The City of Iowa City, Iowa (City) is soliciting qualifications submittals from interested consultants to provide appraisal services for City public improvement projects when the estimated cost of appraisal services is $15,000 or higher. Time is typically of the essence when property acquisition is necessary and appraisal is a key part of the project. Any appraiser that is determined by the City to meet the qualifications required herein will be eligible to provide appraisal services on such City projects. It is anticipated that when such property acquisition is necessary all appraisers on the qualified list will be asked to provide a quote with the cost and time for completion. The City will award each project to the appraiser who, in the judgment of the City, possesses the best qualifications for the particular project and provides the most favorable quote on cost and time.
