Construction Manager (Samuels Group) has been engaged for this Project to serve as advisor to DAS and to provide assistance in administrating the Contract for Design between DAS and the Designer according to separate contract between DAS and Construction Manager. DAS is currently seeking design services from qualified firms for a project consisting of an initial study/evaluation for mitigating water infiltration above grade on Giangreco Hall at Iowa School for the Deaf in Council Bluffs, Iowa. It is anticipated that mitigation could include modifications to the existing clay tile roof system, internal gutter system, downspouts, masonry façade, or other solutions. The State of Iowa reserves the right to negotiate design services with the selected design team after the study/evaluation has been completed.
