The County is seeking a qualified design professional firm for the design of a remodeled office building into an EMS station. The project shall consist of a complete and detailed design for the renovation of the facility by a licensed design professional (architect or engineer or both) licensed to practice in the State of Kansas. All proposals shall comply with the requirements of the Technical Profession Act, K.S.A. 74-7001 et seq. regarding the design of public buildings. The design shall be approved by Reno County and based on meetings between the design professional and Reno County Officials to determine the basic design and minimum criteria for the project. The design professional shall be responsible for construction management of the approved design at or below the approved cost, as well as construction inspection for the project.
