Each shelter is to be treated with an Anti-Graffiti coating on the frame and underside surfaces: standing seam roof w/simulated Spanish tile and powder coated frame. 3. The shelter will be an approximately 5’-0” deep and 11’-0” wide covered shelter with a main structure constructed out of modular powder-coated aluminum and/or tube steel or other durable material. The panels should be aluminum/metal mesh. Other materials that meet these guidelines will be considered. 4. The bus shelter roof components shall be modular in design and shall allow for roof components to be securely fastened to the shelter in a concealed and tamper-proof manner. 5. Bus shelter roof design shall be a durable material able to withstand inclement weather and resistant to vandalism. The components must be consistent with the overall design of the attached conceptual drawing, labeled, Attachment A. 6. No protruding manufacturing materials shall be visible from the underside of the roof 7. The Bus shelter shall be equipped with a roof mounted solar lighting system. 8. The overall design of the shelter must allow a minimum of 36” of sidewalk clearance (adjacent to the shelter) for wheelchairs and pedestrians to pass.
