This project includes the supply of water meters and readers to the Town of Yarmouth; Yarmouth has standardized on Sensus water meters. All water meters 1 inch and smaller shall be Sensus IPERL Water Meters. All meters above 1 inch shall be Sensus OMNI Compound (C2 ) Water Meters. All meter readers shall be SmartPoint® 510M or 520M Modules. IPERL Water Meters IPERL Meters shall include: 1. A 20-year life cycle and a 20-year battery life guarantee 2. Interval data with the ability to capture ~1,100 data points (45 days of hourly reads) 3. Monitoring alarms such as leak detection, reverse flow, empty pipe, magnetic tampering, and multiple battery life 4. Integrated two-way communication for AMR and AMI. 5. Zero-lead construction IPERL meters shall be tested to AWWA standards and shall exceed ANSI/AWWA Standard C-700 and C710 for accuracy and pressure loss. IPERL meters shall be NSF/ANSI Standard 61 Annex F and G compliant. OMNI Compound (C2 ) Water Meters and OMNI T2 Water Meters OMNI meters shall include: 1. Integral test port 2. 180-day data logging 3. Interchangeable measuring chambers (C2 and T2) 4. Resettable totalizer for testing 5. Low battery alarm 6. V-shaped, UL-listed, FM-approved strainer 7. Flanged ends 8. Compatible with Sensus AMI and AMR systems 9. 10-year battery warranty OMNI Compound (C2 ) and T2 Meters shall be AWWA tested and meet AWWA Standard C701 and C702 class II. OMNI meters shall be approved by NSF/ANSI Standard 61, Annex F and G approved. SmartPoint 510M Non-Pit and 520M Pit Set Modules 1.
