A. The contractor shall provide all services, labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform required services in and around Washington County facilities. During the contract period, requested services, service sites and service schedules may be amended and revised, as needed. Pest control services shall include surface treatments, structural treatments and nuisance animal pest control in building interior and exterior settings. B. The Contractor shall: 1. Adhere to the principles and practices of Integrated Pest Management with the goal of using the least hazardous pest control options available. 2. Use only approved products and treatment techniques. Local, State and Federal laws regulate the use of pesticides and chemicals used in the performance of this contract. 3. Apply, mix, transport and dispose of pesticides in strict accordance with product label directions, as required by law. 4. Assign service technicians possessing a valid Oregon Department of Agriculture Commercial Pesticide Applicator’s License in the categories of Industrial, Institutional Health and Structural pest control for the specific application procedure performed. 5. Pesticide applicator license status shall be verified by the Contractor and presented to the Contract Administrator prior to service. 6. Ensure that all applicator trainees are accompanied and supervised by a fully licensed pesticide applicator, as required by law. 7. Coordinate with the Contract Administrator prior to treating areas that will be reoccupied when the treatment product is odiferous or may pose a hazard to the wellbeing of those re-entering the treatment area. 8. Schedule all treatments after prior consultation and approval of the Contract Administrator. 9. Provide the Contract Administrator with a copy of the label and Material Safety Data Sheet for each product used in pest treatment on County sites. No product shall be applied at County facilities without review of these documents and prior approval by the Contract Administrator. 10. All contractor staff shall be properly trained, prepared and equipped to respond to chemical spills on County property. 11. Utilize control products that will not stain or damage building components. 12. Shall transport and provide water for mixing products at service sites. County facility water sources shall not be used for mixing. 13. Shall not store or dispose of unused products or product containers on County property. 14. Shall be properly identifiable by wearing uniforms with the business logo present. 15. Before routine and non- routine maintenance, the contractor will check out keys from the Washington County Facilities Division front office. Contractor may need to be escorted to certain locations within the County.
