The City is interested in contracting with a Consultant that will provide construction management, inspection, and material testing services during construction of the Project. The City is seeking Consultants with engineering, construction management, inspection, and material testing experience with transportation projects with similar scopes. The Consultant shall have experience managing Federal-Aid projects for other agencies and be thoroughly experienced with Caltrans’ Local Assistance Procedures Manual Chapter 16 “Administer Construction Contracts.” The Consultant is responsible for providing a team of qualified personnel to deliver the Project on schedule, per specifications, and within budget. The Consultant shall provide all necessary key construction management personnel for the project, including a Resident Engineer(s) and Construction Inspector(s), to be referred to as the TEAM, along with all other supporting staff necessary to provide for the administration of this federally funded project. The Consultant identified key TEAM members may not be substituted during the course of the project without written approval of the City.
