Maintenance, repair, support, and update services for the five (5) Tecan EVO-150 Automated DNA Analysis Platforms in operational use at the Illinois State Police (ISP) Forensic Science Command (FSC) laboratories. This agreement will provide for one (1) annual on-site preventative maintenance visit, on-site repairs as needed, necessary update installations, instrument testing and support services. The current system uses Promega DNA IQ System extraction kit chemistry and the Promega Power Quant quantitation chemistry, and Promega Fusion amplification chemistry. The objective of the contract is to allow for the repair of the Tecan workstations on an as needed basis plus an annual maintenance on each instrument. Annual maintenance must include: cleaning and greasing of instruments, adjustments, and replacement of wear and tear parts, such as, valves, syringes, tips, tip assemblies, tubing, etc. The vendor or subcontractor must use original, genuine and unused Tecan parts. Maintenance must also include any recommended testing outlined in the Tecan service manual for the instrument, as well as, volume verification testing of each liquid handling arm (LiHa). These services will include all necessary parts, travel, and labor. All services will include a report of services performed. Vendor will provide a general response time within 24 hours and if on-site repair is needed, that they will arrive within 72-96 hours to repair the instrument. Vendor will provide telephone hotline support services during regular business hours. Vendor must be certified by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
