In this Invitation for Bids (“IFB” or “solicitation”) City Schools, as defined below, is soliciting bids for qualified vendor(s) to supply kitchen equipment for the Department of Food and Nutrition Services. The selected vendor must be fully capable of turnkey replacement when necessary, not just drop shipping of equipment to a dock location. The vendor must have trained staff available for site visits to install equipment replacements, when required. The Vendor must have staff capable of removing on-site equipment, making in-house modifications or fabrications as required to facilitate equipment installation, the setting of new equipment in place, and the capability of making the equipment fully operational and ready for use. Vendor must have their own local service technicians (within fifty (50) miles of the Baltimore City Public Schools Central District Office) on staff for after-installation support if required.
