The consultant will be expected to perform the following tasks as part of the Feasibility Study: 1. Data Collection and Review: o Review existing data on the City's water and wastewater systems, including WWTP operations, water demands, and wastewater generation. o Conduct a detailed review of current wastewater treatment processes, effluent quality, and existing infrastructure. 2. Recycled Water Market Assessment: o Analyze current water use within the City and assess the potential market for recycled water, identifying opportunities for potable reuse and non-potable applications. o Estimate recycled water demand, considering both current and projected future needs based on City growth patterns. 3. Alternative Treatment Technologies: o Identify and evaluate various advanced treatment technologies that can meet potable water standards. Treatment options may include reverse osmosis, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, and advanced oxidation processes. o Assess the feasibility of integrating these technologies with the existing WWTP infrastructure.
