1. Comprehensive Security Evaluation a) Assess all aspects of physical and digital security from property line to interior. b) Identify and address vulnerabilities such as unsecured entry points, inadequate surveillance, poor lighting, and emergency response protocols. 2. Behavior Threat Assessment and Management (BTAM) a) Incorporate BTAM practices to detect potential threats by monitoring concerning behaviors. b) Provide strategies for early intervention to prevent violence. 3. Digital Threat Monitoring a) Monitor online threats such as cyberbullying, harmful behaviors, and digital risks. b) Recommend tools for detecting, reporting, and managing online threats. 4. Physical Infrastructure Review a) Evaluate campus security infrastructure including entry points, surveillance systems, and emergency communication protocols. b) Recommend improvements based on real-world incidents and best practices. 5. Law Enforcement Integration a) Review collaboration with law enforcement, including patrol frequency, training, and building access. b) Assess security integration with School Resource Officers (SROs). 6. Emergency Services Readiness a) Evaluate readiness of fire, EMS, and other emergency services. b) Review communication, response times, and joint training efforts. 7. Perimeter and Building Security a) Assess perimeter security such as fencing, lighting, and camera coverage. b) Examine main entrance controls, security films, and access control systems. 8. Interior Spaces Security a) Evaluate security in classrooms, assembly areas, corridors, and offices. b) Review lockdown capabilities, communication tools, and security glass. 9. Emergency Preparedness, Drills, and Training a) Assess emergency preparedness plans, communication systems, and relocation/reunification procedures. b) Evaluate drill schedules, frequency, and types (e.g., fire, lockdown, evacuation). c) Ensure coordination with first responders during drills and training exercises. d) Review training programs for staff and students on emergency procedures, including lockdowns and evacuations. e) Analyze after-action reviews and continuous improvement based on drill outcomes. 10. Final Report must include but not limited to (all items included in flat rate fee cost): a) Best Practices guide to improve security measures with a thorough evaluation with clear and actionable recommendations. b) Three (3) year consultation period once last report is furnished to the District c) Review of District Emergency Response plan, District’s Threat to others, and District harm to self protocols.
