Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) requests bids from private contractors for the purpose of maintaining, furnishing, installing and repairing upward-acting sectional doors. There are approximately 43 UDOT facilities throughout Region 4 with overhead sectional doors. Region Four boundaries fall within Millard, Sanpete, Carbon, Emery, Sevier, Grand, Beaver, Piute, Wayne, San Juan, Garfield, Iron, Washington and Kane counties. Note the Colton station is in the far southwest corner of Utah County but for purpose of this contract will be lumped into Carbon County for mobilization purposes. Contractor will perform maintenance, repair, replacement and new installation of sectional doors as requested by UDOT representative. All work is to be performed by a manufacturer certified repair technician. Many repairs will need to be completed in a timely matter for security and safety reasons. As such, the contractor will be expected to perform both emergency and non-emergency repairs, including emergency on site response within 8 hours of notification.
