1. Telephonic medical case management and on-site case management activities where appropriate. 2. Assist in supporting and enhancing MARTA’s existing Modified Duty Return to Work Program. This program provides employees injured at work with temporary, transitional work task assignments to perform until the employee can return to work full duty. Tasks are structured to meet work restrictions outlined by the employee's treating physician. 3. Provider network: The Contractor is required to work with MARTA to update the certified Worker’s Compensation Managed Care Organization (“WC-MCO”) medical provider carve-out network, at least on an annual basis but more frequently if requested by MARTA. 4. The Contractor must actively work with the medical and service providers in the network to ensure compliance with Managed Care rules outlined in the statutes. 5. Provide staff with accurate and timely medical treatment and work status information on each claim. 6. Utilize electronic communication modes and data transfer (E-mail, Electronic Data Interface with the current MARTA approved Risk Management Information System provider) to the fullest extent possible in order to increase efficiency and reduce paperwork. 7. All of Contractor’s Medical Bill information must be electronically transferred between Contractor's software system(s) and MARTA’s current Risk Management Information System.
