The City of Urbandale is inviting your firm to submit a proposal for a solar feasibility study. The study will identify the required planning, technical feasibility and related services in connection with the potential development of solar PV installations on six (6) identified City facilities. Prior to the bidding and installation of solar on any of the City’s facilities the city requires an in-depth analysis of the technical feasibility of solar PV at each location and a risk assessment. That information will be used to determine if further steps toward bidding a project(s) is warranted. This RFP is seeking firms that have demonstrated experience in studying, planning, designing, cost estimating, scheduling, permitting, system monitoring and maintaining similar complete solar PV systems. This proposal will be for the feasibility study only, should it be determined that the city will move forward, a separate RFP will be issued for design services and construction administration.
