The District Office Data Center project includes the relocation of the District’s existing data center. The data center supports the District’s approximately 3,000 employees and 16,500 K-12 students. The work effort includes working in and around an operating data center which supports critical network and voice functions at the District Office and at each school within the District. It is critical to the project and to ongoing operations throughout the District that no unplanned outages to the incoming service provider equipment, data center equipment and data center supporting equipment take place during the duration of the project. Contractors proposing on the project are required to provide documentation confirming their ability and past experience of working on similar projects that include the upgrade or replacement of electrical, HVAC and low voltage infrastructure and equipment. The following prequalification information is required from each contractor. The District will review and confirm all information provided.
