Mowing, irrigation, snow removal and repair services for the University of Kansas Medical Center – Wichita (UKSM-W). 1. The equipment and system shall be installed in accordance with all approved building, plumbing, electrical, health codes, and function as specified. 2. The installer/worker must be certified in the field of work that is being performed. 3. All work is to be done by trained, experienced individuals. Workmanship shall be so-as-to require a minimum of repairs and patching. 4. Contractor will, upon request, furnish a set of plans in a timely manner to allow time to complete the work. 5. Any installations, work or plantings shall be warranted for a minimum of one (1) year of warranty coverage, and/or the length of the manufacturer’s warranty (whichever is longer) except for those items caused by owner negligence. Contractor(s) shall supply UKSM-W (University) with all warranty information whether it be expressed or implied. Detailed Job Procedures: 6. During work progress, Contractor shall keep premises free from any unnecessary accumulation of tools, equipment, surplus materials, debris and the like. 7. Contractor shall protect surrounding areas and surfaces to preclude damage during work. 8. Contractor shall erect barriers as necessary to protect students, staff, and visitors during the performance of the work. 9. The Contractor is responsible for cleaning up all residual materials before the job will be accepted as complete. Area shall be broom-swept and all debris removed to the dumpster or a designated trash area. 10. Any items found during the final inspection that need correction shall be corrected before payment will be made.
