The District desires to contract the work to a company having expertise in landscaping management. Currently, the site is in need of attention to address weeds, overgrown vegetation, general site debris, irrigation and other typical landscape maintenance and improvement. The landscape services contract will include typical landscape services including but not limited to the landscape “Scope of Work” outlined in EXHIBIT B. The “Scope of Work” includes adherence to defensible space requirements outlined by Truckee Donner Fire Protection District and CALFIRE and understanding the three defensible space zones (0, 1, 2). The contract includes responding to defensible space inspection violations and implementing recommended improvements to strengthen the District facilities defensible space and fire protection.
