Provide all labor, equipment, and materials for the Illinois State University South Campus Power Plant (SCPP) 1400-ton chiller addition project. A mechanical single prime will serve as the general contractor for the project with the expectation to subcontract all other work outside of the mechanical scope. Addition of (1) new 1400-ton capacity chiller, new cooling tower on the roof of the plant, new freecooling heat exchanger, associated piping systems, electrical gear in the electrical room, and associated new primary pump and condenser water pump to the existing SCPP. New concrete, structural steel and electrical installations provide infrastructure for the new chiller plant equipment and piping systems. Along with associated structural, architectural, piping, electrical, and controls to integrate the new equipment into the existing chilled water plant operation. Contractor shall conduct its operations as to ensure least inconvenience to general public by scheduling work with the owner to accommodate owner occupancy and operations.
