o Provide and install six (6) Speed Guardian 5000 LH U 42, or approved equal, high quality, high use insulated panel doors with appropriate seals and sensing edges of the dimensions as specified: [12’x12’] (exact measurements to be field verified) to include the rail, and spring assemblies at Fire Station #79 located at 1377 6th Street, Coachella, CA 92236. These doors need to be available in red color powder coat. The doors should also include a panel of windows or “lights” similar to existing doors. o The Contractor is responsible for evaluating, measuring, designing, and proposing garage door improvements as well as coordinating all equipment selection, ordering, sequence of construction, assembly and proper installation, as necessary for a fully functional, high quality, automated garage door system. o Provide and install an appropriately sized and powered operator for each door with a minimum of 2 HP. o Install new electrical wiring, switches, buttons, electrical appurtenances and new push button controls as needed and determined by the Contractor at the areas of the preexisting controls in the apparatus bay. Existing power supply is 120V. o Install new junction boxes for each new operator. o Eliminate and remove and abandoned wiring from existing operators and secure or remove junction boxes as needed. o Remove and dispose of existing doors and assemblies, and operators. o Install new breakers for the operators. o Make necessary adjustments to the doors and once completed test for safe and proper operation. o Ensure operation of the Fire Station is intact at all times during construction. o A minimum of ten programmed remote openers shall be provided with the longest available effective activation range o This is a “Prevailing Wage” contract subject to verification
